  Women Who Lift            I am an e-board member of the Women Who Lift Club here at Western Illinois University. Our club made friendship brackets and sold them for $1 at the union in October. That money went to the McDonough County Animal Shelter. With the friendship brackets sales and donations, we were able to donate over $120 to the animal shelter. Some of our members went to drop off the money and other items we donated and got to hang out with this good boy named Kane. 

             This picture is on the back of a trailer located at Handson Feild. I took a picture of the trailer when I was walking to film football practice. I decided to look up when these logos were used, and it was harder than I thought it would be to find that information. But after a few hours of research, I was able to find out the years. I personally love learning about the history of WIU. I would love to know the vibe and experience the students had back in the day. I imagine how the school would look when those logos were the face for WIU. My grandpa went to WIU form 1964-68s, and I think during Thanksgiving this year I'll ask him how the school, sport, and party life was while he was at WIU.

  Location and Time of Game:      Western Illinois University Verses University of Iowa at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City. The game was held on December 29 th , 2021, and tip off was at seven pm.   Pregame Stats:      Coming into this game Western was 10-4, and 1-1 in the Summit League. While Iowa was 10-3, and 0-2 in the Big 10.   High Scoring Players:      For The Fighting Leather Necks the Junior Trenton Massner scored 20 points out of their 71 total points. The second highest scoring player was Junior Colton Sandage with 15/71 for Western. For the Iowa Hawkeyes the freshman Murray Keegan scored 29 points out of their 92 total points.
