WIU Logos Over The Years

             This picture is on the back of a trailer located at Handson Feild. I took a picture of the trailer when I was walking to film football practice. I decided to look up when these logos were used, and it was harder than I thought it would be to find that information. But after a few hours of research, I was able to find out the years. I personally love learning about the history of WIU. I would love to know the vibe and experience the students had back in the day. I imagine how the school would look when those logos were the face for WIU. My grandpa went to WIU form 1964-68s, and I think during Thanksgiving this year I'll ask him how the school, sport, and party life was while he was at WIU.

  Rewriting, Indiana football: Scoreboard malfunctions during Western Illinois game - Yahoo Sports      “ BLOOMINGTON — The second half of  Indiana football's  game against   Western Illinois University [1] on Friday night started with officials keeping time on the field after the scoreboards at Memorial Stadium became in operational”      The scoreboards went dark at the end of halftime and there was a brief delay as officials discussed the issue. The  Hoosiers  have scoreboards located in each end zone and the game day feed didn't turn back on until there was 10:33 left in the third quarter.
