  Rewriting, Indiana football: Scoreboard malfunctions during Western Illinois game - Yahoo Sports      “ BLOOMINGTON — The second half of  Indiana football's  game against   Western Illinois University [1] on Friday night started with officials keeping time on the field after the scoreboards at Memorial Stadium became in operational”      The scoreboards went dark at the end of halftime and there was a brief delay as officials discussed the issue. The  Hoosiers  have scoreboards located in each end zone and the game day feed didn't turn back on until there was 10:33 left in the third quarter.   Location and Time of Game:      Western Illinois University Verses University of Iowa at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City. The game was held on December 29 th , 2021, and tip off was at seven pm.   Pregame Stats:      Coming into this game Western was 10-4, and 1-1 in the Summit League. While Iowa was 10-3, and 0-2 in the Big 10.   High Scoring Players:      For The Fighting Leather Necks the Junior Trenton Massner scored 20 points out of their 71 total points. The second highest scoring player was Junior Colton Sandage with 15/71 for Western. For the Iowa Hawkeyes the freshman Murray Keegan scored 29 points out of their 92 total points.
